OTA Weekend while LSU plays in the sun.
I am heading out of town for the weekend to visit some family, so feel free to open track anything you think is fun here.
Things that I think need to be noted though:
We had an Al Qeada Plot broken up here in the States, but the NY Times is grousing that we are making preemptive arrests. My only comment: Bush caught hell for not preventing 9/11, and now they catch hell for preventing a tunnel bombing. NY Times=Ungrateful Bastards.
Meanwhile, a California Man Revealed as al Qaeda Leader.
Captain Ed has been busy dealing with WMDs and Iraq:
Saddam And Anthrax Operations…
(thanks to Orbusmax for the round up)
I would also like to make a mention of the SCOTUS stay issued by Justice Kennedy in the San Diego Mt Soledad case. Stop The ACLU has the story, and rightly celebrates the partial victory in allowing San Diego to continue it’s appeal.
But the ruling he issued goes much farther. The SCOTUS had previously refused to hear the case, but in his ruling Kennedy makes a mention that the situation may no longer be the same, so the hope now exists that the SCOTUS may take a run at it if the City loses its appeal.
Just food for thought.
Mostly though remember to enjoy some time with friends and family and have a good weekend.

The Blight Club…
I’d bet that most regular readers of this blog have heard of both the Red Cross and the Green Movement. Few, I suspect, have heard of the “Green Cross.” As the New York Times tells it, The Green Cross is a progressive, humanitrian movement of a sor…
