Darcy Burner contines her campign lies

Published by Karl at 2:41 am under Politics

You know it’s really sad.  Darcy has to resort to the worst in desperatoin ads I have seen.

Reasons to vote for her over the incumbant Dave Riechert?  He voted for VA tax cuts (he didn’t), he had his picture taken with Goerge Bush (true) and he voted to cut minimum wage (he didn’t).

Maybe I should take the time to debunk them but frankly it doesn’t matter.  What she is doing is using sophistry and demagoguary to make her points.  Make the arguments twisty enough and who cares.

Make sure you mention that GWB is evil, that’s essential, apparently.  It’s sad.

Darcy?  Aside from you knowing lots of veterans, and not liking Goerge Bush, where is your platform?  What is your vision for the country?  What do you have to offer?  What leadership?  What ideas?

The answer?  She doesn’t have one.  On one radio show she noted that social security was not in trouble, and yet on another she mentioned she would support raising taxes to fix social security.

She wants the war to end but has yet to offer anything substantive on how and what to do to make that happen.

Etc ad naseum.

I have tried to stay on the fence, and I have yet to endorse any candidate.

But Ms Burner is about to be the first person I will give an anti-endorsement to.  She has more then earned it.  I hate liars.

Well the first thing I think when I hear someone bashing Bush is "Oh yeah! Me too!". However, I agree with you that it takes more than simply slinging mud at your opposition to make a platform. Guess she is counting on Bush haters to go with their knee-jerk reaction and not look any further.
