I didn’t blog at all this weekend.  Fair weather finally allowed us to do some cleaning, celebrate a few birthdays and get some shopping done.

But the world moved on.  In the highlights:

Hillary shocked the world and announced her plans to run for president.  I’m truly stunned.  Truly.  Shocked.  Stunned.  Didn’t see that one coming. Nope.  Amazed.

Ok not so much.

Honestly anyone who did not see this coming is foolish.  It was apparent all the way back to her first lady days, to her decision to remain with Bll, to carpetbag…err…run for the senate and every perfectly nuanced stance she has taken , to appear more moderate and less a pushy power hungry [insert word with for female canine here].

Others announced their decisions to run, but the media has their darling for sure.  Sister Toldjah makes note of how quickly the bias has begun.

Interestingly, her stiffest competition is likely to come within the party ranks where Barrack Obama has also announced his run.  Will she drop the Muslim card and try to get him to back off (as some rumours indicate)?  Will she team up with Edwards who is planning a nother run as well?

On the Right side, Guilianni has announced his possible candidacy.  Rudy might be able to swing it, and frankly I see him as the best hope right now of avoiding another 3 way democrat powerplay.  Time will tell.

Al Gore ducks and runs from critics of his lam-o-fest movie.  His word must not be questioned!
