Todays lesson for liberals: This is what patriots supporting the troops looks like
Massively overlooked by the media, there was a huge pro troops rally this weekend not far from the crazy moonbat anti war rally. The rally was call The Gathering of Eagles. Read more about it at http://gatheringofeagles.org/.
The rally was driven out of a desire to protect the Vietnam Memorial from anti war moonbats, as rumour told of plans to desecrate The Wall.
They gathered thousands strong even if the media barely noticed.
Bushwack, a fellow blogger and staunch patriot went with family to the rally and his wife, D.Bush took these amazing pictures. Read about it here.
So for the benefit of our poor liberal friends, here are some pictures of what real patriots look like, and a few of what they do not look like. I know I will get some heat from people who disagree, and frankly i don’t care. Welcome to my blog, where I present my opinions.
These are patriots:
OK. Now these, in my opinion, are NOT patriots:
Iraq Vets. Can you say HERO? Say it with me….H-E-R-O…..
I have no friggin idea what this is….
In my opinion, patriots support the idea of a free America, sacrifice, and committment…and most of all pride in our troops. They support the continuation of America as a free society.
Non-patriots support the idea of peace regardless of the results, shame and overall just tend to go off in very strange directions, like socialism, anarchy, lawlessness, disrespect for the military and other idiotic stances I can barely describe.
Big difference. Easy to figure out which side of that fence I want to be counted on.

Thanks for the hat tip my friend, it was an incredible trip.
Something that seems to be lost in all of the hoopla is: during the Vietnam war, the anti-American sentiment was the only voice heard. Not any more.
THIS gathering proves that internet is a powerful tool and it lets the media know they are being watched and critiqued in the same light.
I can only say one thing: Oorah! (Sorry, the MARINE in me.)

Bless you. My sentiments exactly. Posting a drive-by as soon as I get everything together. You’re in it. RT sent me this way and now I’m a fan.
