Thursday Funny: How to get from New York to London via Google Maps
Special thanks to Steffy for sending me this today.
I have to give someone at Google credit for a great sense of humour.
1. go to www.google.com
2. click on “maps”
3. click on “get directions”
4. type “New York” in the first box (the “from” box)
5. type “London” in the second box (the “to” box)
6. click on “get directions”
7. scroll down to step #23
You get this map:
And these directions (23 is circled):
Well shoot if I had known it was that easy….

In case you wondered…
Don’t forget, when you reach London your trip is only halfway complete. The return instructions also call for swimming across the Atlantic so this trip will be twice as hard as you thought.
By the way, I think somebody screwed up the instructions but then again that’s Google maps for you. They call for swimming to France then crossing to the United Kingdom. If you just swim to England you can shave off enough time to make it for high tea.
