O’Reilly exposes MediaMatters and its Soros and MoveOn Connection

Published by Karl at 5:27 pm under Liberals

OK, I am posting this out of curiosity more then anything else.  I am certainly not hooked into anything detailed enough to prove or disprove anything about this accusation.  I do know that if true, it is not illegal nor is it really a shock to think that Soros is trying to influence politics.  Move-on.org is proof enough there.

But it is troubling if the Media Matters group is truly this controlled by Soros.  Granted they are openly existing to counter conservative misdirection, but if they are tied to Move-on and Soros, it does show how deeply invested he is in directing political agendas and controlling information.

And O’Reilly’s theory is somewhat validated by the Nutroots attack on Joe Lieberman who refused to toe the move-on/Soros line and had to run as an independent to retain his seat.

If anyone wants to claim there is not a liberal propaganda machine in play, they may want to reconsider.

Again, this is not conclusive, but it is interesting.  I suspend all further judgment until later.

Via Hot Air:

Bill O’Reilly went after Media Matters tonight in his Talking Points Memo and in the segment that followed. He named several influential media figures who regurgitate content and talking points from Media Matters uncritically. O’Reilly promises more segments on Media Matters in the future.

The diagram below shows how George Soros and other rich far-left Democrats funnel money to Media Matters, a well-financed left-wing “media watchdog” that, in the words of one reporter I know, “works the refs” by goading reporters into skewing their reporting to the left lest they attract Media Matters’ ire

The flow chart is available on Hot Air.
