Observations from the road: Part 2
Some more observations. Nothing profound here…
-
Waking up to a crash as your sisters cat knocks over tv trays in his quest to get a little closer to the cockatiel sucks.
-
Small town street fairs and public markets rock.
-
Speaking of speed in California, the speed limit signs here are obvious not laws, they are just kind suggestions, because last night I was passed constantly on my way home by cars going at least 80.
-
Sitting on a hill in Vallejo offers a beautiful sunset.
-
My work mail addiction continues, as I sorted 300 emails before breakfast today.
-
I need a travel sized guitar.
-
Friends rock. Not the superficial acquaintences we all have, but real friends who will tell you the truth no matter what, and love you regardless of all your obvious faults.
In a more serious note, listening to the radio again yesterday has made me even more convinced that a lot of the discussions on the radio are knee jerk reactions, particularly about immigration. I am continuing to maintain my wait and see approach to the immigration bill. I have heard some new aspects of it I am not in favor of but at the same time some of those I am getting conflicting reports and contradictory accounts of, so again I fall back on the wait and see position.
And that just serves to convince me that my general desire to approach complex issues cautiously is the best way to be.
I am going to my sister’s shop this morning, for its grand opening. I will post more later.

So what’s your sister’s new shop? We all want to know!
Yo Karl,
It was great sharing the sunset and dinner with you my friend. Even if the most ironic thing in my life actually did happen (as predicted). I am beginning to think that I might have precognitive powers..at least about a certain someone.
Wouldn’t have changed a thing. You rock.
