Bryan Suits: KVI responds with a bland “oh well” form letter
KVI responds:
Thank you for taking the time to write us with your concerns. We certainly understand you are not happy with the recent changes that have been made on KVI.
As we continue to evaluate our programming on KVI, please know this was a difficult decision for us. Ultimately, we needed to look at the strongest programs on KVI from a ratings and revenue standpoint and make some hard but necessary business decisions.
Bryan Suits is one of the most brilliant, quick-witted people we know. But unfortunately his wisdom, experience and side-splitting humor failed to gain ratings traction against his competitors. We believe the local, political talk show The Commentators will have a better chance competing during the important afternoon drive time period (it will be the only show of its kind on the radio in that timeslot).
(Not anymore, it is now up against David Boze…)
We wish Bryan all the best and thank him for his service to the station, and more importantly, his service to our country.
We hope that, in time, we have the opportunity earn you back as a listener.
The real answer? We care more about the money we will make from Dr Laura.
Fools. They sacrificed quality, and more important, substance for smarmy feel good pap.

I think KTTH could find a nice, open slot eh? Hint hint! I listened to Bryan every day because I knew that I would laugh and think at the same time. How far the mighty KVI has fallen … sigh.
I just realized that I haven’t turned KVI on since I tuned in on Monday the 12th to find Bryan gone… and turned it right back off because I can’t stand to listen to the Commetators argue with each other. So I guess I am officially a Former Listener.
I miss his wry side-splitting humor that made me laugh out loud when idiots would call his show.
I cannot wait to hear him back on the air - and hope it is soon. My drive home is so boring now.
Bryan, we miss you. Come back soon.

I wrote KVI the first Saturday after they announced the change and got the form letter reply. Pitiful. Can’t stand Carlson/Schram piss and moan for three hours ANY time of the day and Kirby and Company needs an overhaul along with KVI in general. Thank God for my youngest son who fixed my MP3 player for books on tape to listen to on my windshield time. Sure hope Bryan pops up some place local but not holding my breath.
I too have not tuned in KVI since the program change. But not a huge loss to KVI because the only show ont that station I listened to was Bryans. Damn I miss that asshats wit and banter. Now I have to listen to Boze who is not nearly as funny but beats the hell out of the two old ladies on KVI. Good luck KVI on your new programing…your going to need it. Bryan, did you shoot a bison yet?
Please be assured I am passing these kind words on to Bryan.
I started listening to Bryan because I couldn’t stand another second of listening to Savage talk about his dog or whining. Once I found Bryan I never changed my dial for the ride home, often leaving me listening to 570 in the morning as well.
Now I have no reason to even change my dial to 570, and I won’t.
I’m still looking about once a week for any news of bryan getting a gig. I look forward to the day he’s back on the airwaves (and ‘net, if not local!)
The only time I swap to 570 now is when the darned Sonics are on 770 cutting into Boze’s time.
