Christmas Cuteness. Warning, may cause eye leakage

Published by Karl at 1:17 am under Military, family

I saw this at Hot Air.  I agree with their assessment, it is cheesy but irresistible.

But aside from the warm and fuzzy factor, I believe this glimpses and reminders are important, regardless of politics and ideology, because no matter what you think of the war, the reminder that our soldiers are human and that they not only risk their lives, they sacrifice their time with their families to serve a cause they believe.

Thus it has always been, and always will be.  This transcends this war.  This is a fact of Military life, and is something these soldiers share with Military men and women of all ages, eras and conflicts.

So, here is extreme cuteness, with the best saved for last.

And another one…

…and another…

…even another…

…and the granddaddy of them all, from last year.

No, this is not sappy or cheesy - this is the strength, the backbone, the fabric of this society which makes our country great and we need to get back to. We need to resurrect the family.

How wonderful to see kids being brought up with with love and respect for patriotism and not the opposite.

    LSU,

Thanks for the reminder. I remember when I was a kid and my Dad would come home on leave. He always made sure to spend time with each one of us separatly and togeather. We hated it when he had to go back. I have always thought that people who didn’t have family in the military are missing out on something. Their values are different. They seem as I got older very shallow and kind of uninformed. I guess. I just know they missed out on a lot of things.

God bless our troops and their families. I hope they all have as happy a Christmas and New Year they can. You too.
