Note From Bryan Suits: Regarding the firing rumours….
This was in the comments of this post, so I am reposting it for your enlightenment.
Thanks all. However, let me clear something up. Schram had nothing to do with my ouster. Kenny may have loathesome political opinions, but he’s a stand up guy. If I had been paired with him from the outset, The Tators would be killing Limbaugh and Dave Ross 9-noon (maybe not Limbaugh).
Regardless, Schram is a pro and (off air) a really good guy. Where I’m going (back) to, it’s all about good radio. Not boring authors or inside baseball “live Iowa coverage” at 8pm. Or forced banter. It’s good radio. Period. If you’ve ever heard Jim Rome’s sportstalk, that’s my new show. Only, I get to use the WHOLE newspaper. Any-hoo, I’ll keep Karl (LSU) updated as events warrant.
So let the rumours die, Ken did not get Bryan canned.

I never thought schrame had anything to do with this… In fact the day that Carlson acknowledged the 500 pound gorilla and admitted that Bryan was in fact persona non grata, I sensed some disgust in Schram’s voice as how the whole event went down.
Anyway, I think the sidebar the site here needs to be changed from ~ Bryan Suits, Radio Talk Show Host KVI 570am, to
~ Bryan Suits, Radio Talk Show Host KFI 640am
I never did think Ken was up to anything either. But some people did make that suggestion, so I am glad he addressed it.

Good to hear Byan landed on his feet too bad it is in california. have not listened to a single KVI broadcast since he left. David Bose dosn’t fill Bryans shoes but he does beat the hell out of John $ Ken. Big Ups Bry.
Simply put, Bry got reverse/inverted Broadcasting-Fishered (”Blue Falconed” for the uninitiated). Numbers-centric Fisher management (who clearly wouldn’t know/recognise or appreciate the trendings of the New Media paradigm if IT bit THEM or vise-versa, as it were), have tin ears and are in desperate need of a “hip” and humor transplant. But, would appear to be getting a reality check and a GOOD lesson from Hi-Flyin’ Bry — down at KFI. How cool…

Seems a bit arbitrary and stringent [to date], considering the deliberate, conscientious choice to use euphemism in lieu of expletive [to maintain a level of civil and decent discourse].
