Nevada Shocker: Voter fraud alleged by Democrats- against Democrats
Here is a game you can play at home. Watch an election. If a Democrat is involved, they will at one time allege voter fraud against their opponent. Bonus points when they allege it even when they are winning.
For a long time it has appeared that Democrats believe heavily in this as an election tool. Obviously the biggest known case is the 2000 presidential election where Al Gore made every effort to ensure only democratic votes were counted to swing the race.
Rumours of voter suppression and fraud were rampant, and eventually unfounded.
In the 2004 presidential election the same tactics surfaced, this time in Ohio, where voter fraud was again claimed repeatedly, but never proven.
So I have long wondered if this is a strategic effort by Democrats, as if they were claiming it just in case.
In fact, that is exactly what happened in the Congressional elections in 2006 where many liberals predicted "we will win unless you cheat".
So why is it that Democrats are so closely tied to fraud as a concept? Is it just a convenient strategy? Or is it more?
Honestly I think it is, in large measure, just a strategic way of laying the ground work for a challenge in case of loss, a political tool, nothing more.
The fact is that in every election there are irregularities. Most of them are by law braking individuals, and there is no way I will warrant a guess as to the political affiliations of those people, but I can say I have seen more organized efforts that are deemed to be fraudulent by liberal groups. mostly by ACORN.
Of course the Democrats claim institutional irregularities by conservatives. The electronic voting particular is attached to dire warnings of electronic tampering. Again, I believe this is a preemptive way to ensure they can challenge something after the fact.
The fact is that in my opinion the easy way the democrats drop the fraud card (usually with the race card on the flip side) is so ingrained into their methodology that they cannot help it. Voter fraud, recounts, suppression...all are designed to utterly reduce the viability and legitimacy of any conservative win.
You want proof? Look no further then Nevada, where even in a Democratic Primary, the accusations have surfaced- against their own party members:
Predictable: Democrats lose, Democrats claim shenanigans
I guess we’re just going to have to get used to this sort of after-the-fact crying foul in every single election involving a Democrat.
It’s not just one diary on Kos. Here’s another. The Obama campaign itself has made the claim of “more than 200 voting irregularities” in Nevada.
We never hear anything like this on the Republican side.
That the Clintons are involved lends the possibility of it actually having some weight, I’ll admit. But Bill Clinton was out claiming shenanigans against the Obama campaign earlier in the day. Both campaigns apparently wanted to taint the possible victory that the other might have won today.
That the Democrats keep engaging in these low games may the most obvious case of long-term mass psychological projection this country has ever seen.
And there you see it: Make the allegations just in case. Taint the victory of the opponent. Vilify the other guy.
You may be asking: Are you seriously suggesting that Democrats are so determined to win as individuals that they are willing to employ this even against their own party?
In a word, yes. The proof is right there.
There is, however, another possible answer.
Maybe the Democrats on both sides of that divide (Obama/Clinton) are truthfully dishonest enough to want their candidate to win at all costs, so they are actually at a voter level committing that much fraud.
If that is the case, and I am not suggesting it is, but if that is the case, then can we make a case that the democrats, despite their piety, are more likely to commit fraud, and not just claim it?
Is this, as Hot Air suggests, just projection? Are democrats cheaters who call other on their cheating as a defense mechanism?
Maybe. Selwyn Duke offers a theory that they do so because their demographics offer them unique opportunities to do so.
He may be right too.
All I know, is invariably if there is an election, there will be accusations of fraud by democrats, particluarly when they lose, followed be demands of endless recounts until they win.
The democrats just may be the worlds worst sore losers.

Excellent post! You are quite correct in that most fraud tends to occur among Democrats. It is kinda funny how the voting precincts that have issues tend to be run by Dems, too.

LSU,
When algore was raising the roof about the FL vote besides the recount of the chads he didn’t want the military votes counted. His reason was “how do we know they are the real military votes”. I keep wondering how he missed the armed MP’s with the mail bags cuffed to them. I guess they weren’t real either. They recounted those cards 3X. Then Kathrine Harris the state official that had to sign that the vote would stand when under their attack and lost her job. They said she certified the vote and it was illegal. They still haven’t got it right yet. The first time I went to vote in a major election it was at a senior club house and it was 90+ degrees out side and they were dropping like flys. I went inside and to let them know that the plan they had wasn’t working. Got some chairs outside and some water. There was like 20 of these these little stands and they would only let 3 people in at a time? Their excuse was that they had to watch and make sure the voting was done right? Finally got them to get into gear and started bring as many of the seniors inside that way at least they were out of the sun. They told me I couldn’t do that. I told them to call the PD and I would talk to them. I guess they finally got that it would be a good thing just to let the folks make their marks and drop them into the box. The mind set is boggeling.
