Democrats bottom feeding on Palin as they release her SSN and address

Published by Karl at 9:34 pm under Democrats, Palin

Or I should clarify, they released a partially redacted version of her SSN.  Either way, this is just another case of the liberals going way over the boundaries.

BREAKING: Democrats Release Sarah Palin’s Social Security Number

The Politico has received an opposition research file from the Alaska Democrats. You can read it in PDF here.

Actually it is here:  http://www.politico.com/static/PPM106_palin_doc.html

In the file, the Democrats have released Sarah Palin’s social security number minus the last four digits. Also tied to the information are her various home addresses.

Back in 2005, Democrats used Michael Steele’s social security number to get his credit record.

It is atrocious that the Democrats would not only seek out Sarah Palin’s social security number, but release it in opposition research to the press.

We need to know who did this. We also need to know what happened. We also need to know if it was used to bolster the Democrats’ opposition research.

When it happened to Michael Steele, it turns out the Democrats knew about it and did nothing.

They cannot not take action now.

UPDATE:

The Alaska Democratic Party says it did not release the information. From Ben Smith, at the Politico, I got this:

Our story doesn’t say that “Alaska Democrats” gave us that document. It was a document prepared for Tony Knowles two years ago. We haven’t revealed our source.

You should also note that it’s a partially REDACTED social security number. That seems relevant. If less sensational. It’s missing four digits.

Here is the key take away: Yes, the SSN is redacted and people can pay for themselves.

Now, here are additional points:

  1. If the AK-Dems didn’t do this, who did? Obama? The DNC? Who? They’re releasing the whole thing now and letting the media make hay of it.

  2. Why didn’t the SSN get fully redacted?

  3. It’s ironic the party that thinks only Republicans invade privacy, invaded the privacy of Sarah Palin enough to learn her social security number and distribute it to the media.

The attacks on her have been fast and furious.  Accusatoins about her child, invasions of the family privacy regarding her daughter, accusatoins about her voter registrations.

They must really be nervous.

Redacted the last four digits? Gee, now that’s secure. It’d take about a minute for a brain-damaged monkey to run the sixteen combos and come up with her actual number.

Releasing her various home addresses isn’t such a much though. The same brain damaged monkey (or Alan Colmes, whichever is stupider–duh, Alan Colmes) would also have to be severely direction-challenged to miss, “Northwest to Alaska; ask friendly native where Wasilla is. Ask ANYONE in Wasilla for directions to Todd & Sarah’s place… ” *sheesh* Even if Wasilla is 4X as large as the town where twc central’s located, I have little doubt folks could point out “Mayor Palin’s place”.

OTOH, I also have little doubt the neighbors would be ready, willing and able to hold down on any Dhimmicrappic shenannigans going on on her front lawn.

The SSN thing, though… how soon can we expect to see it used by an illegal alien alien invader, now that it’s been published (as god as, with only the last four digits redacted)?

BTW, want Todd & Sarah’s home phone? Try Anywho.com. We already know it’s a 907 area code… (Hint: they’re not home right now. Please leave a message. :-))

But yeh, I’m still doing a slow burn over the SSN stuff.

Since Wasilla is smaller than Mayberry, they could just ask Goober where she lives. LOL. We are sunk with Miss Alaska (runner up) in the #2 spot. what was McCain thinking ?? she is already under investigation for Christs SAKE !!!

Everyone needs to stop looking at politics and the people involved as players and teams. We need to get the right people in office working for the people not the team. That said they are both cry babies, they do and say things and they point the finger at the other one and they call it politics…I call it ridiculous waste of time and the peoples money.

Four digits yields 16 combinations? Did they release it in binary?

  6. Davidon 03 Sep 2008 at 6:39 pm

Thanks rsp. I did indeed need another cuppa joe. *heh*

Nice that 10000 is binary for 16 (decimal), cos factoring the combos out yields 10,000, slightly more–9984 more–than 16.

So, it’d take 16 monkeys. Which is about as many monkeys as DKos can field to play “ditto” in the first 16 comments “amening” some assinine assertion.

I could see, Con, the idea that some of the Machine Pols in Alaska might pull this sort of stunt as a revenge tactic, since she’s gone after a LOT of GOP up there in the last two years.

BUT… The democrats did it with Steele in 2005, don’t prosecute their own under any circumstances, and have a friendly media to run interference. If ’twas inside the GOP, and anyone ever found out, the guys who did it would be hung out to dry, and they know it. (GOP has a standing record of NOT shielding their own when the proof is in hand-or even well publicised and plausible allegations are involved as occurred with Gingrich.)

So I’m inclined to believe it was mid-level Democrats working under deniable orders. It fits their party’s behaviour.
