So Democrats…do you even know *why* you are voting for Obama?

Published by Karl at 5:39 pm under Idiots, obama

The people in this audio clip certainly did not.

Howard Stern was curious about the question no one likes to ask:  Will black vote for Obama just because he is black?

So into the field in Harlem he sent a guy with a microphone to ask blacks if they vote McCain or Obama.  When they answered Obama, he clarified their positions, but used McCain’s positions instead of Obama.

Here is the result:

So there you have it.  Blacks in Harlem vote Obama because he is pro life, opposes stem cell research, and wants the troops to stay in Iraq and finish the war.

And they don’t mind Sarah Palin as his VP.

Thanks to Sister Toldjah for this eye opener.  Here is how she saw it:

Now, what will probably attract the most attention from that audio clip as far as the left is concerned is the fact that Howard Stern had the guy interview only black people, in an attempt to prove that they were only voting for Obama because he is black. But the truth be told, how many people out there think that the average white voter out there would have answered any differently? I don’t think there would have been very many.

The audio clip made me feel a mixture of sadness and anger. Sadness because there are so many people in this country who (I feel) don’t know much about Barack Obama and are voting for him for no other reason than because he makes people “feel good” and because he’s “cool and hip” (shades of Bubba), and anger, because this type of lazy ignorance is very likely going to elect a man who sells Socialism with a smile on his face (”I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.” - video of comment here) and makes it look “appealing” to those who don’t know any better.

Of course, three people is hardly a consensus, but you would have figured at least one would have caught the line about Palin.

I mean, seriously people!

Obama is winning because of style not substance.  His people love him with no clue why.  Hope and Change.

No clue what they are hoping for, or what he might change.

He is pretty.  Handsome.  Charismatic.

People like pretty.

The candidacy of Barack Obama is a disgrace!
Any literate person blest with one ounce of intelligence willing to do a bit of internet investigation, willing to read - will figure out Obama is a far, far, left radical using Chicago political thug tactics to win an election. His candidacy is nothing more than - using Obama’s words - a tedious attempt to bamboozle and hoodwink the American people. AMERICA WAKE UP!!!

I’m not surprised. Most Obama supporters I’ve encountered don’t know anything about him except that he’s black, and a democrat, and he can really give a good speech.

It doesn’t really matter here in Washington State anyway-the election will be decided in King County by the Politburo (er, “King County Elections Board”), who will generate however many votes it takes to ensure his victory (along with a second term for Queen Christine). Things will be easier for them this time-’Vote by Mail’ means no pesky sign-in logs or I.D. checks.

Scary prospect . . . . so many “informed” individuals heading into the voting booth.

Reminds me of the scene in THE WIZARD OF OZ, where the booming voice says, “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.”

Hmm, ironically, most McCain supporters I’ve encountered got their misinformation from talk radio. You can load up on all the political finger pointing you like but we all know those arguments can be made pro or con at will. Don’t be distracted, and indeed, wake up. Actions do speak louder than words, or statistics, and there is no excuse for Mr. McCain’s attempt to defend the people at the McCain/Palin rally who were shouting suggestions re: death to Obama. I did not hear the original event and had only hoped that it was a bitter rumor. After hearing McCain defend it last night during the 3rd Debate, my ire rose. First, it is nothing more than sociopathic behavior to make such a comment. If any of us, today, made such a comment about George W. or myriad other prominent people, we would be carted off to jail. Second, if the perpetrators were indeed veterans, as Mr. McCain suggested, he should not be excusing the behavior but referring those veterans for counseling services through the VA. In any respect, it is unacceptable and should never be condoned by someone who thinks he has the capacity to seek placement in our Nation’s highest office. He is obviously not qualified for the command of this country as he apparently lacks the good judgment and intelligence necessary to truly understand our complex issues. Regardless of any past history or records, all of which are subjective and skewed on both sides, and, could be squabbling points to no end, current performance demonstrates that McCain would not be a capable President. We need more intellect and stability than he is able to offer. Our highest office needs the stability and intellect exhibited by Senator Obama.

Hi Betty! Thank you for proving yet again that you and the other Democrats are reliable in your methods:

    1. Attack the messenger when the message doesn’t agree with you
    2. Attempt to redirect the topic
    3. Attack George W. Bush to imply that he stole your rights
    4. Imply that people who don’t support your personal chosen one (Obama), are ignorant and / or racist
    5. Repeat the lies of the other leftists (such as the “kill” rumor that the Secret Service has already said it was unfounded - http://www.timesleader.com/news/breakingnews/Secret_Service_says_Kill_him_allegation_unfounded_.html)

Get back to the facts here. This information suggests that people supporting your candidate are doing so because of his race, despite his opposition to everything they apparently support.
